We Need You! Scheduling and Umpire Coordinators

February 25, 2024

Without umpires, the games don’t happen. Without scheduling coordinators, the games don’t happen.

We have a very supportive and active Executive and they will help you ease into your duties. The duties are simple: set the umpires’ schedule, organize their training, and ensure that they are paid. The scheduling coordinators (aka convenors) schedule the games.

Umpire Coordinator: ROMSA is a non-competitive and friendly youth house league, the ideal environment for bringing up and training young umpires. We have an urgent need for someone to help the kids on their officiating journey. Is this something you would be interested in? If so, please contact our president, Tyler Faith, at president.romsa@gmail.com

Scheduling Coordinator: Many hands make light work. Our registrar will help you schedule the different age groups. This is straightforward work if divided amongst several people; one per age group. Please contact our registrar, Jaime Hodges, at registrar.romsa@gmail.com if you are interested in helping us (and the kids!) out.
